Three  pictures depicting railroad travel in the Mt. Carmel area.  The picture on the left is the Reading Station that was located at Fifth and Market Streets in Mt. Carmel.  The picture on the right is the Lehigh Valley Station in Exchange (behind what is now International Paper).

  Below is the Lehigh Valley Station located underneath the viaduct in Mt. Carmel.

 

Tiddy's Furniture Store was located on the west side of South Oak Street between Fifth and Sixth Streets. Katch's currently occupies the building. We believe these photos are from the early 1920's.

 

We believe this photo is of a float in a parade (possibly a Mummer's parade) held in the early 1920's.
